    Description

    Abstract stained glass wall panel hanging that mimics the flow of the river beyond.  Metal and glass art with intricate details, 'Drift Along' incorporates stained glass 'bubbles' and flame-worked 'seaweed'.  Expressive stained glass art to enjoy in any setting.  This one drifted across the US to the west coast and resides on an upper exterior balcony.

    Dimensions:  27"W x 41.5"H

    Construction:  Stained glass and glass nuggets were soldered to a steel and brass frame which was designed to merge into the art.  Torch-worked 'seaweed' was annealed to prevent thermal shock.  Wires were strategically soldered throughout the piece to firmly secure the glass in place.  Decorative solder borders the top bar and is useful in camoflauging the hangers in the top corners.  Black patina highlights the art and clear lacquer helps to maintain the blackness of the patina.
